King Day Celebration

An annual commemoration of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday. The day features free public admission, live music, community discussions, and outdoor performances celebrating civil rights history.

The museum’s annual King Day celebration aligns with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday. Admission is free from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM so the whole community can take part.

The day includes live music, community discussions, and outdoor performances on campus and in Founders Park.
